Data Driven Decision Making
Designed for all data proficiency levels, the Data 101 Series will support instructional planning from basic access of student demographic information to summative assessments through formative assessments to support daily instruction. Sessions will utilize both public educational data sites such as DataQuest and the Test Results for California Assessments Website. In addition, sessions will build upon each other from accessing granular data from the California Educator Reporting System or CERS, connecting the data to assessment blueprints, and develop a thoughtful and deliberate formative assessment system for the new school year. Resources from the Smarter Balanced Ecosystem that connect to the focus areas will be shared and utilized. Research based data analysis routines will be utilized during this process to support student learning and outcomes.

UPK (Hybrid)
Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) Collaborative Network
This series is designed for instructional leaders who are leading Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) teams to ensure successful implementation of early learning plans. Sessions will build the capacity of leadership in creating a PK-3 alignment that will build a foundation of high quality instruction and increase the proficiency of 3rd grade reading and mathematics standards. Find out how investing resources in early education can lead to results for learners that reach far beyond high school graduation. Developing a love for learning is built into the research-based methodologies and instructional practices that will serve as a guide for LEA teams that participate. The most current information from the California Department of Education (CDE), local leaders best practices, and key early learning entities will be shared in each session.

Developing and Creating a Positive School and Workplace Culture
Have you ever wondered what it takes to create and sustain a culture where everyone feels connected, respected and protected? This series of workshops will help participants recognize how implicit biases affect our behavior in various aspects of life. The Implicit Bias Professional Learning workshop explores their formation and regulation, revealing their impact at home, work, and in the community The Let's Talk Abouts Race workshop delves into uncomfortable topics like implicit bias, race, and ethnicity. Participants learn how these factors shape behavior and follow protocols from "Courageous Conversations About Race" to navigate difficult discussions. In our culminating workshop school culture is examined and formed by daily interactions that extend beyond classrooms. The School Culture workshop helps identify and strengthen positive systems influencing relationships among students, staff, and parents.
